Garden tips
Garvinea® is a Gerbera type bred for outdoor cultivation. When planted in the landscape, it quickly fills in and produces flowers for three seasons. Let your creativity run wild by planting Garvinea® in borders, containers, mixed planters, and more!
Caring for Garvinea® is simple: pest and diseases are insignificant. The plants require a spot in the sun or part shade and prefer a moist, well drained soil. When planting your Garvinea® in planters, water must be able to drain away at all times. Do not use clay-like soil.
Give them some extra water when they are in a container, or in times of prolonged drought and a handfull of organic fertilizer for blooming plants as directed.
We want more flowers!
Remove old flowers to encourage new ones!
In terms of flowering time Garvinea® out-performs its fellow-garden plants: new buds are formed from early spring until the onset of frost.
Its natural resistance, suitability for cold and biological cultivation makes Garvinea® a relatively sustainable choice!
